Student Looking for Housing in exchange for Childcare

I’m looking for a unique situation. I’m 19 years old Black male college student from Sacramento. My life in Sacramento isn’t great and there aren’t a lot of opportunities for myself. My brother who lives in Oakland has encouraged me to take my education seriously and go to school in the Bay Area (he wants to keep track of me :). He’s had a successful life with education and I hope to do the same. I don’t have a lot of financial prospects. I plan to get a part-time job while I go to school. My brother told me that I should find a family to live with. One, because it’s good to be a part of a family unit to get me on track (I’ve struggled with school in the past), and two so that I can give back to a family in need. I work really well with kids and I’m a relatively clean male. I can offer child care or cleaning services in exchange for rent or extremely reduced rent. If you need a reference, you can talk to my 12-year-old niece, whom I took care of from age 3-9 years old. Also, I don’t plan to be in the home often. I plan to be in class, doing schoolwork, working a part-time job, and working on the business that I'm starting. My goals are to go to Diablo Valley College in the Fall. I’m taking business classes and digital art courses. My goal is to have a successful small e-commerce business by next year. I’m not sure what my goals are after community college. Maybe transferring to a four-year school, working professionally, or finding a new path. I just know that I need to get out of Sacramento so that I can have opportunities. My brother is willing to be my reference and can talk to you about specifics. I’m okay with multiple interviews and even a background check. Right now I’m working during the summer and saving up for the move to the Pleasant Hill area or surrounding East Bay.
