This event is a pamper party composed of various activities and workshops that promote holistic health & wellness. Come join The Herbal Healing Hut for our Pamper Me Wellness Party 2-day wellness weekend event at the luxurious Hampton Inn in Southgate, MI! This will be an event of healing and relaxation. Enjoy wellness services by some of the city's best healers. Some featured services and activities include facials, herbal headwrapping, chair massages, foot reflexology, reiki, herbal medicine-making, and more! Raw vegan refreshments and detox tonics will be served! We are honored to have our guest speaker, all the way from the Caribbean island of Grenada, Master Herbalist Patrick Delves who will be giving an empowering lecture on herbal Cancer-prevention and more! In the HHH experience we study, advocate, and preserve the herbal medicinal and dietary traditions of our Aboriginal ancestors. We study and identify plants/herbs and discuss the medicinal properties as well as survival uses. Afterwards we "chat & chew" over a vegan meal prepared by the elder. Dates and locations vary. HHH over the years has garnered the support of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Sierra Club, Detroit Outdoors, and others.
