Job Description - Delivery Associate (Delivery Driver) - Bring Smiles - Deliver in the Gig Harbor area! Peninsula Parcel Service is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. Delivery Associates strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on-time, exceed expectations and be safe at all times. We offer full and part-time opportunities. Company Vehicle Provided! No Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Required!Approximate hours are 10:30 am to 9:30 pm. Shifts typically are10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. Duties and Responsibilities Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.Use an Android based mobile device for routing information, customer delivery information. Android mobile device proficiency a must!Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area utilizing mobile phone based GPS.Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.Load and unload packages to be delivered.Ensure delivery vehicle is undamaged, clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all timesBe CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.Interact in a positive and a professional manner with customers and general public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail, and business locationsPerform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:Drive and operate a Ford Transit Extended Cargo Van or similar vehicleLift packages and totes up to 50 lbs.Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch many times during shifts up to 11 hours longAble to get in and out of van, walk at a moderate pace and walk up and down stairs many times throughout your shift.
