Such a good memory, yet awkward

My best missed connection EVER! Yes, just as the title says, we had an awkward meeting back in late summer. I think it was early September. We agreed to finally meet. You were stunning; tall, beautiful, blonde, and dressed to impress. Me, well, lets say I didn't bring my "A" game. We shared a bottle of wine which led to a few laughs and also some awkwardness. However, our conversations were deep and meaningful. That left a lasting impression on me. The night ended with me dropping you off at home. I was fairly certain I'd never hear from you again. Over the next week we traded a few one line emails. The weeks drug on, and eventually your trail went cold. I knew you were busy and I never wanted to be a pest. I finally accepted the fact that you were not interested, even though I'd occasionally wonder how you were doing. Then Thanksgiving week came along. Out of the blue, I get an email from you. WHOA! I apologize for my initial reaction. I didn't know what to think. We traded a few emails and decided to meet again. Yes, you looked absolutely amazing! You have such a natural beauty and the confidence to match. We shared another bottle of wine, more great conversation, and passionate kisses. We've since shared several more nights together. Each meeting seems to get better and better. The conversation more meaningful and the kisses more passionate. I've learned so much about myself by spending time with you. You've opened my mind in areas I never thought were possible. You've challenged my way of thinking. I can't thank you enough for this. I look forward to spending more time with you... and yes, another bottle of wine! :-)
