OC Construction is seeking a Construction Manager COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our Company has repositioned thousands of apartment homes over the past two decades, supporting some of the industry’s most prominent owners, management companies and investors. We currently do renovations for the giants of the apartment industry in locations around the nation including Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Oregon, California, Utah, and Minnesota. Construction Manager Responsibilities Include: Oversee, coordinate and complete construction projects and renovations of multi-family units on time. Coordinate and direct partners to meet time constraints on renovations. Review work progress on a daily basis and report to Regional Manager on progress of renovation of units and any other ongoing projects. Ensure partners have all necessary materials to complete renovations and other projects. Ensure quality is up to standards set by OC Construction. Contribute to the overall success of OC Construction in all of Denver and surrounding areas. POSITION EXPECTATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Have working knowledge of General Construction processes and methods including power tools, equipment and of various construction materials; general carpentry; knowledge of building trades, skills, and practices to adhere to current methods Have working knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods including measuring and installing cabinet doors and basic plumbing and electrical Knowledge and skill to assist in bidding projects Knowledge and expertise to build new partner crews Self-motivated/starter to accomplish and complete daily tasks/workload with proficiency with the ability to prioritize needs Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; ensure resource/materials availability and allocation; communicate daily with all team members (internal and external) with schedule updates Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Work alongside trade partners to complete tasks; establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to speak with and advise clients in a professional and polite manner Experience with email, word, timesheets, job documentation, etc.; create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and performance Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills; problem solving skills and positive can-do attitude Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels Must be reliable, dependable, presentable with a professional appearance and a well-balanced nature, flexibility to handle change on the fly; must be able to problem solve under stressful situations Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques, report and escalate to management as needed Availability to work evening and weekends as needed REQUIREMENTS: Proven work experience in construction projects, renovations of multi-family units and construction management Willingness to learn and adapt to our companies’ policies, procedures, and techniques Ability and knowledge to lead others and communicate clearly goals set by OC Construction Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move or position objects weighing up to 75 pounds and assist others with objects weighing more; own and supply basic hand tools to complete daily tasks as needed Have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and own reliable transportation, truck is preferred/needed COMPENSATION: This company offers competitive wages, medical benefits, paid holidays, and vacation Annual Salary $52K to $70K is based upon experience with additional opportunity If you interested in an opportunity with this company, then please respond to this ad with your resume and salary requirements.
