Atlanta Country Club Marietta, GA Primary Purpose: The Assistant Equipment Technician reports directly to the Equipment Manager. The Assistant Equipment Technician will assist the Equipment Manager in the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with the course maintenance department. The Assistant Equipment Technician will serve in the Equipment Manager’s capacity during their absence. This position offers a great opportunity to train, learn and further develop necessary skills to become an Equipment Manager. Willing to train the right person who is willing to learn, be proactive and punctual, with a good attitude and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to assist in service of all golf course equipment. Assist in inspecting equipment for operating deficiencies. Assist in making repairs and adjusts equipment as directed. Operate equipment to safety specifications. Clean and organize shop as directed by Equipment Manager. Willing to work weekends and holidays. Must have valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Have the ability to lift, move, carry objects up to 75lbs, stoop, stand, bend, and grip and squeeze repeatedly.
