Description

Hello I'm 36 and have been playing guitar, bass, and drums most of my life. I have pro gear for all instruments and the ability to play them. Haven't been playing with anyone seriously in about a year. Just trying to get something going for fun and sooner than later start playing shows. I'm pretty easy to get along with and no ego issues or serious drug or alcohol problems. I like to have a few beers and smoke a little bit on occasion. Ideally looking to find a group of players to learn a set list and get through it together. Basically choose a group of songs to learn independently and hopefully come in to a practice space and be able to get through them together. Hopefully similar taste so everyone has fun with it. I prefer to play guitar and some vocals. I have close to 100 songs down from 50's to 90's rock and blues. I also like/play metal and punk but don't really want to include that stuff. I would prefer to start something new rather than join something else or fill in. I would play drums if you have a kit and space. Drums are not fun to move. Mostly looking for bass to start. I'm open to switching instruments on different songs with other guitar players that could play some bass. Looking for drums, bass, keys/piano, possible singer, possible 2nd guitar. I have some friends that are available to jam and fill in but they have other things going on. Here's some of the stuff I would like to do. Elvis, buddy holly, little richard, hendrix, stones, beatles, ccr, skynyrd, srv, steve miller, tom petty, zeppelin, cream, acdc, ZZ top, to name a few. Open to suggestions and compromise of coarse. Not much of a pop or country guy and certainly no pop country. Hoping to find like minded. Not really concerned about your age or politics I'm independent. Looking for skilled and reliable people. Pretty busy during the week but usually have nights and weekends open. I'm currently in a townhouse and can't really make a lot of noise so I'm willing to find a practice space or contribute financially to one once it makes sense. Look forward to hearing from you.
