Need Help for my Mom.... HEARING AIDS

Ok I'm not used to being the one to reach out and ask for help. But since it's not for me, I'm going to throw this out there. My much beloved mother, CAN NOT HEAR! At one point she had hearing aids and her life was much better. She has none now and she cannot hear anything. It's made even having a conversation with her really difficult since you have to spend most of the time yelling, clarifying, then repeating. I miss just being able to talk to my mom like normal. Going out and spending a bunch of money on hearing aids is just not in the cards for us. Not at the moment. I was thinking if someone out there has family members that have passed away, or even upgrades their own existing hearing aids, we would be so gracious for any hearing aid hampy-downs. My mom worked her whole life as a NICU baby nurse. She's just retired now and doesn't have a bunch of money to devote to this. So San Diego... thanks for taking the time to read this.
