We are a picture framing shop in Federal Way, looking to showcase local artists in our space. We can accommodate around 10-15 pieces on our wall, depending on size. 2-D art only, no sculptures, please. Painting, drawing, photography, all pieces have to be nicely framed in order to hang (prints on metal and stretched canvas with neat edges can be an exception.) Artwork on paper such as drawings and watercolor paintings have to be protected under glass. We offer a 10% discount on framing to artists. The artwork imagery has to be family-friendly meaning no nudes, political, or disturbing imagery. The shop will handle the sales of the artwork and collecting the sales tax. The shop takes 40% commission from all artwork sales, the artist takes 60% (if the pieces are framed with us then the shop commission is 25%). If you are interested, please send your artist statement and 5-10 images of your artwork along with contact info and any questions, we will contact you if we find that your art will be a good fit for our space.
