We are now hiring a full time Delivery Driver/Dock Utility position to complete our Salem Team. Shift 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. The position responsibilities will be shared within the following areas: Delivery, 90% of your time: Safely operating a Class B delivery truck to deliver compressed industrial, medical, and specialty gases, as well as industrial/welding equipment and supplies to customer locations throughout the Salem area. Steel cylinders are heavy. Must be able to lift 75lbs. **visit our website @ www.industrialsource.com to learn more about our products and services. We are a distributor involved in sales and service of both welding & fire suppression products. If you don’t get excited about those products, you most likely won’t enjoy the work involved. Dock/Shipping & Receiving, 10% of your time: Responsible for sorting incoming cylinders, filling portable liquid containers with industrial oxygen, nitrogen, and CO2. This person will load/unload delivery trucks, maintain fill plant organization, and maintain accurate cylinder inventory. Skills needed: Customer service, pro-active communication, organization, attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, and confidence in acting decisively in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment. We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to prioritize own workload, work independently, and exercise independent decision-making. Dependability….the ability to arrive at work on time, each day, ready to work. Class B CDL with hazmat and air brakes endorsements is preferred, as well as current medical card and safe driving record. Don’t have a CDL? We will train the right candidate. Why Us?
