10 year old male beagle mix needs experienced new owners

Difficult to place 10 year old beagle mix needs a forever home with an experienced owner. Pros: Loves to chase racoons, squirrels, birds, any animal that runs. Occasionally will chase a tennis ball, but not to bring it back, just loves to chase. Has good energy level and would make a good fast walking companion. Enjoys long naps. Crate and Potty Trained. Tolerates cats provided they don't run. Cons: When focused on chasing animals, will be completely deaf to commands. Will find any hole and escape from fenced yard. Does not like other dogs in general. Does not like hyper children. Some submissive belly showing actually means "do not approach" and will nip you if you touch him at that time, wait until he returns to a standing/sitting position before touching him. Being 10 means his life expectancy is between 2 to max 8 more years. Has been flea treated and had nails trimmed on the 4th of June. Do not contact if you're not serious about keeping him forever.
