Male singer, 48yo, looking to join/form 70's classic rock band. My favorite bands are Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd, Foreigner, Bad Company, Billy Squier, The Doors, Grand Funk, ZZ Top, Bob Seger, The Allman Brothers, and The Eagles (if your focus is more on Petty, Mellencamp, SRV, The Band, and CCR, I'm not a good fit for you). I also love prog rock like Genesis, Kansas, Yes, Supertramp & Rush, but that's a long shot! Also play lead/rhythm guitar and some keyboards, but would like to find another guitarist so I can focus on the tougher vocal songs. Bassist and a drummer that plays well in time is essential. Keyboards would be icing on the cake. Not looking to gig a lot, maybe 4-6 times a year at most, but I have recording and video equipment, so music videos are a possibility. Practice space in South Hills with full PA & drums, but willing to travel for the right band. For drummers and guitarists in the North Hills, the bass player from my last band has rehearsal space in Ross Twp and could possibly be talked into the right project. I prefer to rehearse on weekend evenings, as my weekends in the summer can be rather busy. Multi-instrumentalists welcome, as I also play drums and bass!
