Looking to either hire a team and/or build a team for a major home gut / rebuild from the inside. Project site is in Pensacola East Hill area. RESIDENTIAL HOME DEMO WORK, CONCRETE/ MASONRY WORK, FRAMING/ GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CARPENTRY & WOOD REFINISHING WORK DEMO WORK 1) demo existing sheetwork/ plaster from walls 2) demo remains of old wood burning stove fireplace (already taken down below the roof line) 3) carefully demo/lift up original wood floors in a manner in which we can refinish and reinstall them after the remodel work is complete 4) remove old windows (about 3 to 5 windows) 5) demo framing from walls which will be moved elsewhere CONCRETE/MASONRY WORK 1) Repair of concrete/ masonry piers under a historical pier & beam home (floors will be completely open for easy access) 2) Add new concrete piers where needed to better support the house per engineering plans 3) Add new concrete piers for new back porch deck per engineering plans 4) Repair/ replace masonry house skirting 5) Install new concrete steps to replace wooden porch steps on existing porch on side of house per design plan 6) Install new concrete steps for new back porch 7) Build masonry decorative brick walls on both sides of existing porch on side of house and for the new back porch. FRAMING/ CARPENTRY WORK 1. Build temp wall & install jacks to hold up backside of home roof in order to completely rebuild back wall of home 2. Build new walls where needed per design plan 3. Reframe existing walls with 2x6s and remove old 2x4s as needed. (supporting & non-supporting) 4. Build new sub-floor framing / replace existing joists where needed 5. Installation of new subfloors throughout 6. Build framing for new covered porch deck/ roof 7. Installation of porch decking WOOD REFINISHING 1. Strip/ sand historical/old wood planks to be reused 2. Strip/ sand historical/ old wood lap siding to be re-used COMPENSATION: Compensation will be dependent on skills and/or project details. $15 per hour and up for hourly team members. Others who wish to place a bid for a specific part of the project will be reviewed on a case by case basis. JOB LENGTH: This project is the first. A 2nd project, which is a brand new 2-story garage apartment/cottage, will start up prior to the completion of this one. Project Owner / Supervisor is a licensed Florida General Contractor.
