House Manager/Nanny - Afternoon/Evening Shift

Two professional working parents are looking for someone to join their family to assist in taking care of their twin 3 year-old girls and perform household chores between the hours of 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM for the same hours. The ideal candidate is someone who is hard working, experienced with children and can handle day-to-day cleaning, cooking and supervision over children and can manage the family household. Candidates that can drive and are bilingual (e.g., Arabic, Chinese, French or Spanish) are preferred but not required. In accepting this position, you must be respectful of the family home, the parents time and child rearing decisions and the children, who will be in daycare for most of the morning and afternoons during the weekdays. In short we are looking for someone who we can depend upon in assuring the safety of the family home and children. HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Preparing meals Preparing for family events (e.g. birthday parties, setting dining table for guests, etc.) Handling the day-today laundry and chores of the home Assisting working parents with errands related to dry-cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. Taking out trash to trash disposal Dusting, vacuuming and washing of dishes. Driving is not required, but preferred. NANNY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Bathing and dressing children for school Preparing food for day-to-day feedings. Supervising naps and adherence to daily scheduled Walks with children to playground and other events Other chores commonly associated in caring for children EXPERIENCE OF CANDIDATE Certification: CPR and first aid certification is desired but not required Experience: A minimum of at least seven (7) years of experience; preferably with twins. SCHEDULED TIMES & COMPENSATION Work Week: Monday through Friday with additional days as needed.
