Field Crew Chief – This position supervises and directs the operations of the survey field party in the execution of a wide range of surveying and mapping assignments. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain clear and accurate field notes are required. A strong technical understanding of survey field equipment and data collection processes is required. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, a must. Past experience on FDOT assignments, water management, or heavy construction highly preferred. High school diploma and 3 to 8 years of progressive survey field experience required. Rod Person - Entry level position will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art electronic equipment. Must be willing to work OUTSIDE for extended periods of time and clear lines, maintain the truck, tools, stock, and equipment. Prior survey experience and heavy construction are a strong plus. HS diploma required. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Travel in the local area is required.
