Full time - Manhattan JOB DESCRIPTION We’re looking for a driven, hard-working, talented, and highly motivated rough carpenter to join our Manhattan construction team. In return, we’ll give you first-class training, great pay, and a ton of personal growth. After an initial trial period of 90 days, you will become a permanent team member. Responsibilities: - Study blueprints and diagrams to determine construction dimensions. - Measure materials or distances and mark cutting lines. - Cut/saw boards, timbers, and plywood to required sizes. - Assemble and fasten materials to construct structures using bolts, nails, screws, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, wedges, and timbers. - Install rough door and window frames, subflooring, fixtures, or temporary supports - Examine structural timbers and supports to detect decay and replace as required. - Bore boltholes in timber, masonry, or concrete walls, using a power drill. - Dig post holes and set poles to support structures. - Build chutes for pouring concrete. REQUIREMENTS ▶ You must have previous hands-on experience as a rough carpenter, preferably in high-end residential construction. ▶ You must vibe with these core values: 1) Communicate Clearly - We communicate clearly to understand and be understood.
