Traffic Entertainment Group, a music distribution company located in Malden MA, is looking for full-time employee to join our warehouse in a fast-paced and constantly-moving shipping and receiving department. We are proud to be one of the top distributors of independent music, all formats and merchandise, worldwide. Specializing in hip-hop, disco, reggae, funk, and soul, our company serves as an outlet for cutting-edge indie artists and genre-defining pioneers. We are looking for someone with warehouse experience, but will consider those with no previous warehouse history. Primary Responsibilities: -Assists Warehouse Manager in day to day warehouse operations. -Receiving, warehousing, and picking, packing & shipping of inventory. -Assists Warehouse Manager with the receipt of deliveries and storage of inventory. -Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse, and ordering adequate shipping/packing supplies. -Assist Retail Website Manager with packing and shipping of direct-to-consumer web orders. Required Skills: -Must be organized and pay great attention to detail. -Able to work accurately and independently. -Must work productively with a wide range of people. -Able to communicate effectively with all other employees. -Ability to perform under pressures of a deadline-driven workplace. -Ability to use computer software applications and email. On the job training for our system is provided. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: -The position requires significant physical activity: picking and packing orders for customers, receiving incoming inventory, and storage of incoming inventory. Knowledge of music and physical music formats (CDs, LPs, 7”s etc) is a plus! Position is an on-site, full-time job- 40 or more hours per week (with possibility for health benefits after 90 days).
