Join us for the Detroit Strong Kickball Tournament presented by Hillyer's Mid City Ford. Registration Fee: $10 Per Player TOURNAMENT RULES 1. Games will be played at the Detroit City Park. 2. Tournament is co-ed. 3. Players of all ages and skill level are eligible to play. 4. Athletic shoes are required. Metal cleats are NOT allowed. 5. Each team roster will be a culmination of families of all ages. There will not be a limit to the number of players on either team. 6. There cannot be excessive bounce when pitching the ball. 7. Register for Blue team or Red team. Please wear your team color in the instance that the shirts are already distributed prior to your arrival. 8. Winning team will receive a trophy and bragging rights. Liability Waiver Release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk and indemnity agreement, and consent to medical treatment. By registering and participating, we acknowledge that we are aware of, appreciate the character of, and voluntary assume the risks involved in participating in the Detroit Strong Kickball Tournament. Participants waive any claim of action against and release from liability Detroit Lake Recreational Area Business Association, for any harm or injuries to persons or property resulting from participating in the aforementioned tournament. As you can see, there are no strict rules with this tournament. It is all in the name of fun. All players must preregister prior to entering the field . There will be 30 Red & 30 Blue T-shirts available with the printed tournament logo. These will be available as first come, first served at the Park. Thank you to our sponsor, Hillyer's Mid-City Ford. The primary purpose of DLRABA is to stimulate, promote, encourage and develop the economic health, tourism and vitality of the greater Detroit Lake area. All proceeds will benefit Detroit’s Fireworks Over the Lake in July.
