EMI 4-Hour L0583 - Emergency Management Overview for Tribal Leaders
This 4-hour overview is designed to meet the demanding schedule of elected and appointed tribal officials. The course will provide tribal officials with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare their communities to respond to and recover from emergency incidents. It will also help tribal leaders understand how effective emergency management can improve the sustainability of their tribal community and better protect tribal citizens, lands, culture and sovereignty.
Intended Audience: Tribal elected and appointed officials and Tribal department heads.
Upon completion of the course, participants submitting an application will be mailed an Emergency Management Institute certificate of completion for .4 CEUs.
Participants will be required to enter a FEMA Student Identification Number (SID) on your application. PRIOR TO THE CLASS, please obtain a SID by going to https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/. Please enter your FEMA SID number on the registration form and bring SID with you to the class.
