Unite with your community at Gahanna's Independence Day Celebration, presented by KEMBA Financial Credit Union! Join the City of Gahanna in celebrating our nation’s Independence Day and 245th birthday on July 3rd, presented by KEMBA Financial Credit Union! Fireworks will be launched from the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course (220 Olde Ridenour Road) at 10pm. The Golf Course will open to the public at 5:00 p.m. Live music performances will run from 5pm to 9:30pm. Please note: Independence Day Parade will take place on Sunday, July 4th at 12pm. For the safety of all, there are some items that are not permitted to be brought into the fireworks venue, which include pets, alcohol, soliciting, grills, tents, and fireworks of any kind, including sparklers, snaps, poppers and smoke bombs. All bags and coolers are subject to inspection prior to entry. The outbound traffic for the community fireworks will include one-way routing that may restrict left turns and facilitates a quicker dispersion of the venue site. Please plan accordingly to get home as routed from the venue site. Masks are recommended for non-vaccinated attendees and required of non-vaccinated staff. We encourage and support any customer that chooses to wear a mask and, at times, we may require them due to city or state guidelines.
