Celebrate July 4th with Independence Day symphonic classics, from Copland to William Tell, and the 1812 Overture at the historic Boulder Bandshell. Also featured is the music from Star Wars by John Williams and Gregory T.S. Walker’s music for Rapper and Orchestra. This event is part of the Arts in the Park series in collaboration with the City of Boulder. Boulder Symphony’s mission is ‘To connect with and profoundly affect the human spirit.’ Founded in 2009, Boulder Symphony is dedicated to making symphonic music more accessible and relevant to people of all ages and backgrounds by introducing gifted new composers and musicians, adventurous world premiers, and by focusing on educational outreach and interactive programs for youth.
