We are seeking honest and kind professionals to become full-time caregivers with our company in Happy Valley 97086. Older applicants welcome! We are a small, family owned company that has been providing care for adults with developmental disabilities for over 10 years. We value and care for our caregivers, just as our caregivers value and care for our clients! The Management team have all had caregiving experience and understand what it means to be a caregiver: you will never be asked to do something that your managers would not be willing to do themselves! If you have never been a caregiver before, we can provide you with all the training you will need! Compensation: * Paid time off and Sick Time included. * Starting wage between $14 – $16 per hour (Dependent on experience) with opportunity to earn an additional $2.50 per hour raise after 1 year with us! Job description: * Companionship * Light housekeeping * Light cooking * Fun activities with your client including walks in the park, pools, movies, etc. * Stabilization and transference assistance * Bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance * Medication assistance and/or administration. Qualifications: * 18 years old or older * Reliable transportation * 3 professional or personal character references * Ability to pass a background check * Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English * Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 25 pounds * Drug Free Policy
