Gardopia Gardens is an education-based non-profit that teaches children and adults how to lead healthy lifestyles. Stephen Lucke is Founder and CEO of the organization. He is an organic farmer. Dominic Dominguez is the Chief Operation officer, LEED practitioner and sustainability professional. They will speak to the Pearl Rotary meeting about their organization mission and the work they have been doing to address health and environmental disparities currently being experienced by many people in our city. Pearl Rotary is a satellite of the Rotary Club of San Antonio Northwest, was chartered in 2017, and is very close to applying for its charter to become a full fledged Rotary Club and a dynamic part of Rotary International and its mission of World Peace and Community Service in San Antonio and the World. Pearl and Northwest Rotary Club supports many worthwhile charities in San Antonio providing improved lives for people and support for communities. Pearl Rotary is a new community service entity of Rotary International that is sponsored by the San Antonio Northwest Rotary Club. It was started in late 2017 and has been growing with new members since inception. Staff members of the Culinary Institute of America helped start the Rotary organization there.
