Oak Brook Polo's 99th Season kicks off as the areas best teams come out and set the tone for the Chicagoland's polo season. Oak Brook Polo's 2021 Season gets underway with the prestigious Oak Brook Polo Open. The 12-Goal Tournament is Chicagoland's first of the summer as local teams gear up for the first time, stretch their legs, set the tone for the season and claim early bragging rights. The Oak Brook Polo Open is the Village of Oak Brook's flagship polo match and tournament. The tournament was first played following the Village's incoporation in 1958 and has featured Chicagoland's best professionl polo teams and those from out-of-state. The Tune-up tournament is highly competitive as team's get their first look at opposing teams in competition to help develop their strategies for the season. Come out an enjoy an afternoon of thrilling polo and help welcoming players and patrons to the Village of Oak Brook as we celebrate the start to Oak Brook Polo's 99th Season. For decades the Club has been a popular Sunday tradition and social scene known for entertaining Hollywood celebrities, dignitaries, royalty and Chicago's distinguished. Today. the Oak Brook Polo Club plays on the Prince of Wales Field, which is adjacent to the Butler National Golf Course and The Drake Hotel in beautiful Oak Brook, Illinois.
