Adorable, so sweet 1 year old Bassett hound. We are looking for a new home for him as he has put us through some hardships and with three kids and building a home, I’m at my wits end. He has eaten two large rocks and had two obstruction surgeries, has to be monitored constantly which seems impossible at this time in my life. We resorted to putting a muzzle on him but somehow he always gets it off. He shows some slight possession aggression which from what I hear can be corrected with proper training. Just growls when trying to take something from him, never has bitten anyone. He has slight skin issues but I control it using some medicated shampoo. Other than that, he is 100% healthy. Has had all his shots, neutered as well. Crate trained. Potty trained. Pretty quiet. LOVES OTHER DOGS - would love a home with some friends. Raised around three little kids and lots of nieces and nephews. Would greatly benefit from some good training. He is a purebred and I have his papers, just have to find them. I hate doing this but he just isn’t working with our family and causing me more stress than happiness. Rehoming fee will apply and I will want some pictures of his future home.
