Enjoy the great outdoors from your backyard this summer! Join us virtually for the 2021 Great American Campout! There are THREE opportunities for you to join us for some camping fun. Saturday, June 26 2P Kick off a weekend of camping with us! Set up your camp tent early in the day and prep for an evening under the stars. We will help you troubleshoot camp logistics and give tips for an easy camping experience. Saturday, June 26 7P Join us for our night of drumming, dancing, s'mores, and more! Sunday, June 27 9A We are ending the Great American Campout weekend with a morning recap and stove stop breakfast. Hop on and share your stories from the night before. All events will stream via ZOOM, the link will be provided after registration. West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) is a community-based, non-profit organization that is dedicated to growing a cleaner, greener, healthier, and more sustainable West Atlanta. WAWA represents low wealth and communities of color: those heavily inundated with environmental stressors, but often least represented at environmental decision-making tables. WAWA’s mission is to improve the quality of life in the West Atlanta Watershed by protecting, preserving and restoring our communities’ natural resources.  As stewards of our community, we work to achieve optimal community health through establishing a sustainable environment that allows all residents to live in harmony and balance with the built and natural environments.
