Savannah Bohemian works by Amiri Geuka Farris
This work is inspired by the bohemian, those who like myself lead a free-spirited, norm-defying Creative life. The work created for this exhibition uses bold colors and patterns and free spirited kinetic brushstrokes. Some of the work is non-objective while other paintings are easily recognizable images, like the dancer inspired by Lowcountry sounds and music. The work is rooted in cultural mixing of Gullah Geechee and Savannah cultures -
I am so excited to be sharing my work at the Grand Bohemian Gallery best, Amiri.
