Dining in the Dark is a rare and unique sensory dining experience that you will never forget. What happens in the Dark? This unique dining experience will take you through an emotional journey to help you better understand vision loss/blindness. Your journey will begin with a pre-event cocktail party that includes an amazing silent auction. Once your table number is called, your SWAT guide will lead you to your table inside the completely blacked out ballroom. From that moment on, your SWAT waiter will serve and assist you through this amazing dining experience. This event will test your taste, touch, smell, and hearing as you enjoy your three course dinner and the laughter throughout the blacked-out ballroom. The Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision (Savannah CBLV) started as a grassroots organization in 1963 and has grown into a full-service rehabilitation center for people with a vision loss. Savannah CBLV is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
