4-H is having a field day for youth to learn more about the importance of wildlife and agriculture while picking delicious blueberries. On June 25th 2021, Charleston 4-H will be having a field day at Champney's Blueberry Farm for youth to gain knowledge on agriculture and wildlife through blueberry picking! Youth will be provided with their own 1 pint basket to take home. The workshop is limited to 15 students who will need to meet at the blueberry farm location in Charleston. Activities include a scavenger hunt and hands-on learning about wildlife at the farm! Participants are not required to have a 4-H membership to participate. This workshop is open to ages 8-13. We ask that all participants bring water, sunscreen and a mask. Parents are welcome to stay and participate. Refund Policy: 4-H membership dues are not prorated and are non-refundable. If you cancel an event spot more than 2 weeks before the start date, a full refund may be given. If you cancel with less than 2 weeks and more than 1 week before the start date, you may receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given within 1 week from the start date. COVID-19: All individuals participating agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) for 14 days before AND after participating in or attending this 4-H activity. Face coverings, that cover participants’ mouth and nose at all times, are required in all indoor settings, and also in outdoor settings where social distancing requirements cannot be ensured. If you are not able or willing to wear a mask or face covering the entire time, you cannot attend this 4-H activity. Enhanced sanitation and social distancing will be practiced.
