SUMMARY: We are currently hiring a Blinds Installer who can install commercial and residential blinds. We are looking for people who can follow direction as given, can adapt to change fast. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Fitting blinds, drapery, traditional and motorized awnings, shutters, and similar coverings. · Measuring pertinent features of every installation area. · Removing clients' existing blinds before conducting new installations. · Replacing components of clients' window coverings, if required. REPORTS TO Division Manager EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma. Highly varied, demonstrable experience as a blind’s installer. Knowledge about applicable installation software is preferred. Familiarity with pertinent regional building guidelines. Driver's license. Well-honed worksite preparation abilities Refined, thoughtful customer service skills. Capacity to lift large, bulky materials. LANGUAGE SKILLS · English; Bilingual preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment with occasional visits to customer job sites. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, type and use mouse; reach with hands and arms; and talk and/or hear. The employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time but may also have occasional periods where he or she is required to walk, in the warehouse, lift, carry and stack items of up to 50 pounds.
