This unique lecture offers you a window into the mind of predators; how they think and process their crimes; what they are looking for in a victim; how they select and “interview” their potential targets; and based on this knowledge, how you can avoid or manage threats, should they materialize in your life or the lives of your family members. Our exploration will examine the perspective and process of violent predators; explore the disturbing world of predators who use charm and persuasion to create opportunities; and dive into the minds of the most dangerous animal of them all: sociopaths. 1 in 25 Americans fit the clinical definition of sociopath—someone who victimizes others without emotion or remorse. Thankfully, not all are homicidal, mass murderers, or serial killers, but these “wolves in sheep’s clothing” live among us and can do incalculable harm. There’s little difference psychologically between nonviolent sociopaths and Dylan Klebold, Jeffrey Dahmer, or the 9/11 terrorists. Understanding the common motives and identifiers between all Bad Guys is fundamental to understanding how to protect yourself, your interests, and your loved ones.
