I woke up this morning and felt like my middle-aged self needed to be in a band that played original instrumental music. All genres, no boundaries, lots of experiments with things like surf metal and disco bluegrass djent. I'm sure that even if this thing actually happens that it will collapse under the weight of it's own pomposity, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. This fella plays bass and some keys and some rhythm guitar. I have a few other instruments that I dabble in that are verboten due their unique ability to drive people away screaming, hands over their smoking ears, blood shooting out of their eyes. So I guess we'll be needing a drummer/percussionist, a real guitar player and probably two or three beat-box guys. And the big rub is that we'll be needing a place to practice. A few months back I was playing with a guy who played a guitar solo so scorching and wicked that it melted the whiskers off the family cat and now I'm not allowed to bring strangers home.
