Free Event - Kayaks provided. Come paddle with ERM staff at Snook Island Natural Area and learn about this restored and created wetland. FREE EVENT - REGISTRATION OPENS 7/1Single (1-person) Kayaks provided – FREE! Join ERM staff on a guided kayak tour in Lake Worth Lagoon as we paddle around Snook Islands Natural Area. Learn about the history and restoration efforts that created over 100 acres of natural habitat including shallow intertidal zones, oyster reefs and marine wetlands. These island habitats allow for fish, birds and other marine wildlife to thrive and provides recreational opportunities for you to explore and enjoy! We will meet along the shoreline of Lake Worth Lagoon at the south end of Bryant Park at the Bryant Park Pier shoreline. Bryant Park is located at 169 S. Golfview Rd., Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, a dry bag and comfortable, appropriate clothing that will get wet. Restrooms are available at Bryant Park. Masks are not required for fully vaccinated participants (2 weeks after 2nd shot, or 2 weeks after J&J shot) and are required for unvaccinated when unable to maintain social distancing. Masks can be taken off during the kayak event itself.
