MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Children and teens 18 and younger can get a healthy, hot meal at community sites throughout Manatee County this summer.
Manatee County Schools Food and Nutrition Services offers balanced breakfasts, lunches, snacks or dinner daily in coordination with the state's Summer BreakSpot program at parks, libraries, churches and other locations, the school district tweeted.
The program launched Tuesday and runs through the start of the 2021-22 school year.
Mealtimes and food distribution varies by location. Search online here for distribution sites near you and your family. You can also call 211 or text FOODFL to 877-877. No application is necessary.
