BURLINGTON, MA — The Burlington Public Library will resume in-person operations this month, library head Michael Wick announced. The library will begin welcoming people back without masks or appointments on June 14. It will be open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The curbside pickup program will continue Monday-Thursday from 10:15-8:30 p.m. and on Friday from 10:15-5:30 p.m. "The Library's patrons have been patient and understanding during this year of COVID-19," Wick said. "Our staff has worked hard to deliver innovative services and programs. We're happy to return to normal operations and look forward to welcoming our patrons back." There will still be some limitations. The library will be closed Saturdays but plans on resuming 10-2 hours soon. Meeting rooms will continue to be used for online programs and curbsides services but expects for them to reopen to the public in a traditional fashion later this year. Most events will still be virtual through the summer. The calendar has the latest on those. Museum passes will soon be available.
