Press release from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce : Carey Gaddis 06/03/2021 The Board of Education of Carroll County will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. at the Board of Education offices, located at 125 North Court Street in Westminster. The purpose of the meeting is to approve a resolution requesting that the Governor rescind the mask requirement for the end of the school year, summer recovery, and into the fall for the new school year. There will be no citizen participation at this meeting.   The Board of Education will continue taking public comment through the CCPS website (click on the Board of Education tab and Members) or through the US mail. Persons who wish to have their comments posted on the Public Comments page of the website should indicate so at the beginning of their email. Comments must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the Board meeting in order to be posted prior to the meeting.   You may access the meeting by clicking on the link under "News and Notices" on the homepage. The meeting also will be broadcast live on CETV Channel 21.
