PART TIME/20 HOURS PER WEEK. ONLY SERIOUS APPLICANTS NEED TO APPLY. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING. Primary Responsibilities: Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others Repairs physical structure and grounds and ensures a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff by implementing procedures for preventative maintenance and repairs at direction of the administrator. Education/Experience/ Licensure/Certification High School Diploma/GED Equivalent preferred Valid driver's license and safe driving record Ability to perform basic repairs to masonry, buildings' plumbing and electrical systems; basic replacement or repair to hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment such as HVAC system, irrigation, vacuum and carpet cleaners, lighting systems, exhaust, fire, and security systems Ability to meet physical requirements of the job. Cleans internal areas of property including, buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste pick up and removal, and washing windows Must be able to paint internal area of building and re-condition resident apartments as needed Ability to work weekends and/or as needed to meet the needs of the community.
