According to Neilsen Media Research, CNN has lost nearly 70% of its viewers since Trump left office. CNN went from 2.7 million viewers in primetime in January to an average of less than 800,000 on Friday. That’s about two-thirds of their audience gone. CNN had put all their eggs in the hate Donald Trump basket and without him to criticize they’ve fallen flat. Their credibility has also been hit hard as, over time, many of the stories they promoted during the Trump years have been proven false. Even hard-left, MSNBC, which also put all its chips in the middle of the Trump able has seen ratings fall of 49%. And so far President Biden has given the two left leaning cable networks little to crow about. Fox News reached its 14th consecutive week at the number one spot.
