Description
Bjork is a Lynx Point Siamese (mix?) male, approx 5 or 6 years old. He is beautiful, athletic, curious, energetic and quiet. He has a cute squeaky meow that only comes out on occasion--when he's napping, when he's hungry, and when he wants to play! He is fixed, is litter box trained (and now uses a Litter Robot), and does not spray. I was surprised to find out that he hardly sheds--no more dust bunnies growing in the corners and crevices!
However, I have found out over the past couple of months that he is very independent and not very affectionate. He will follow me from room to room, but keep his distance, and only occasionally accepts petting. He should not be in a home with dogs. The shelter told me the previous owners had other cats and that they did not do well together, but did not have details.
He is also quick to swat at you, mostly to engage in play, but also when he doesn't want to be petted. I don't think he would do well with small children.
I am hoping to find a cat guardian or family that would be more accepting of his behaviour and personality.
