Press release from the Town of Leesburg: 06/02/2021 Leesburg, VA (June 2, 2021) – As part of the Town of Leesburg's annual street re-surfacing program, the following road segments are scheduled for nighttime milling and paving work now through July 1, 2021. These roads have high traffic volumes during the day. Nighttime work will be less disruptive to the public and safer for the workers. • Market and King Street Intersection • Loudoun Street, from King Street to Wirt Street • Catoctin Circle, from Valley View Avenue to Dry Mill Road • Battlefield Parkway, from Compass Creek to Sycolin Road • Bypass Southbound Lane, from Fort Evans Road to Route 7 Bridge, repairs only Work hours will be from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly, Sunday through Thursday. The schedule above is subject to inclement weather delays. Milling and paving must be done under dry conditions.
