ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The Paint It! Ellicott City plein air event will return this summer starting June 9. Artists will take to the streets to paint directly from life without the aid of photography. Spectators can follow the artists as they set up their easels around Ellicott City's historic district and paint the picturesque mill town. The event culminates in an exhibit at the Howard County Center for the Arts. The virtual kickoff ceremony will be June 9 at 4 p.m. The paint-out runs from June 10 to June 13 all day. Paint It! Ellicott City's exhibit of juried artists' work on display in Gallery I at Howard County Center for the Arts.
