ARLINGTON, VA — Meet Tucker, a lovable, 37-pound, mixed-breed dog who will steal your heart away, according to his foster family. They also say he's a good boy and know how to "sit" and "stay." Treats motivate Tucker — did someone say Scooby snacks? — and he loves to learn new things. The Animal Welfare League of Arlington is helping Tucker to find a his forever home. Maybe you're the right person to rub his belly or take him on long walks. Here are some important facts AWLA shared about Tucker: "Tucker is very friendly with other dogs and loves people but he is a bit timid when it comes to meeting hyper dogs. He also takes a little while to get settled in his crate for bed so he needs someone with the patience to help him calm down. Tucker is house-broken and very good on the leash." Now that the Arlington County Animal Shelter has reopened for in-person visits, why not schedule an appointment to visit Tucker during adoption hours.
