EAGAN, MN— The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures in the mid-90s in the Twin Cities this weekend, pushing many families to wonder how they'll stay cool. Here are a few places to cool down in and around Eagan this weekend: Eagan Splash Pad at Eagan Central Park: The splash pad is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and is a great option for families.Schultz Lake Beach: This beach offers paddleboard, canoe and kayak rental, and has a picnic area and a bathhouse with restrooms, a baby changing area and changing rooms. Soak City at Valley Fair: Soak City offers attractions for visitors of all ages, and is part of the amusement park. Reservations are currently required for Valley Fair. Below is a weather forecast for this weekend in the Twin Cities from The National Weather Service: Friday Friday will be sunny and hot with a high of 96 degrees. Friday night will dip down to 73 degrees. Saturday Saturday will be sunny with a high of 97 degrees before dropping to 73 degrees Saturday night. Sunday Sunday will be sunny with a high of 93 degrees. Sunday night will have a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 p.m. with a low of 71 degrees.
