Press release from Fountaindale Public Library District: Erica June 3, 2021 There are very few things that go together better than coffee and books (except for maybe tons of money and my bank account).  My favorite thing about most days is the time when I get to curl up with a hot coffee and a new favorite book. Right now, I'm reading Andy Weir's (author of The Martian) new book, Project Hail Mary. This sci-fi thriller is about a lone man traveling to deep space in an effort to save humanity from a sun blocking organism that could end the world as we know it…dun, dun, dun. I am also very tempted to make a joke about how coffee is rocket fuel so it pairs perfectly with this book, but I will spare you for now. If you too want to curl up with some coffee and a good book, here are some reading recommendations to go along with your favorite drink!   Vanilla Latte The Midnight Library by Matt Haig Brooklyn by Colm Toibin Pink Drink Last Tang Standing by Lauren Ho Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert Pumpkin Spice Latte Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia The Secret History by Donna Tartt Flat White Whereabouts by Jhumpa Lahiri Normal People by Sally Rooney Chai Tea When the Stars Go Dark by Paula McLain The Push by Ashley Audrain This press release was produced by Fountaindale Public Library District.
