PLEASANTON, CA — The mass vaccination site at Pleasanton's Alameda County Fairgrounds has closed after administering 140,000 vaccines to more than 75,000 people. The megasite opened in mid-February and served some 50,000 Alameda County residents. Stanford Health Care — ValleyCare and Sutter Health ceased offering vaccination appointments at the fairgrounds in late May, Alameda County Fairgrounds announced Friday. People who had previously scheduled appointments at the fairgrounds may instead receive their vaccinations at the facilities of ValleyCare (1119 E. Stanley Blvd., Livermore) and Sutter Health (find your nearest clinic here). Vaccination appointments may still be scheduled with ValleyCare and Sutter Health going forward. "This site has been an important part of Alameda County's vaccine strategy. As the County Supervisor representing Pleasanton, I appreciate the extraordinary impact this incredible partnership has had," said Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley in a statement. "Together we have quickly vaccinated thousands of seniors, essential works, and residents 12 and older." Here's how you can schedule appointments with Stanford Health Care and Sutter Health.
