Newly remodelled apartment/office building in Squirrel hill is hiring a skilled Building Maintenance Person. Duties include but are not limited to:
Low level electrical, plumbing, appliance, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
Grounds-keeping. Swimming pool maintenance.
Ability to operate snow blowers, and power equipment.
Some janitorial work required.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance. Climb a ladder. Stand for long period of time.
Successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and qualities:
Attention to detail, ability to provide quality work without supervision, ability to read labels and work safely with cleaning chemicals, ability to read and accurately follow assembly instructions and work orders, reliable transportation, flexible schedule, ability to pass drug screening and criminal background checks, honesty, ability to interact with coworkers and tenants in a courteous and helpful manner.
