oldish male electric guitarist seeks youngish female vocalist who is all about hard rock, punk, post-punk, new wave, psych-pop, and ?you tell me. please know your history and your music. we will play originals and non-cliche covers. no pressure, but hopefully you will have a sense of humor, be extroverted, entertaining and entirely uninhibited. (after all, what do you have to lose?) hopefully you can write good lyrics, and/or I will, or we can work on that together. talent and enthusiasm and fearlessness more important than experience. might be best if you are in the lower end of the alto range but whatever. too squeaky is not good but nor do I want the cookie monster. you should be comfortable/able to sing some cover songs originally done by male vocalists, in your own way. don't worry, it's not going to be Johnny Cash or m etallica. starting small. if it doesn't sound good quiet, it won't sound good loud. I'll be an annoying bossy control freak, and I hope you will too, but if not, that's ok. send over samples of your work and/or a list of influences and/or cover songs you would imagine doing. please include your email address so I can contact you outside of craigslist.
