Pacific Environmental Corporation (PENCO) is currently hiring on-call Oil Spill Response Technicians for as-needed summer seasonal spill response and environmental project work covering all regions within Alaska with a primary focus on the North Slope oil fields. We are looking for responsible, self motivated men and women who are interested in starting a challenging and rewarding career in oil spill response and environmental protection. We are a zero tolerance /drug free company and all candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. All required environmental certifications, training, and gear will be provided by PENCO upon successful completion of the hiring process. Point of hire for this position is Anchorage and all incident response mobilizations will be based from there. However, incident mobilization transportation assistance to Anchorage may be provided for non-Anchorage based spill response technicians. All candidates must possess a current valid drivers license. Candidates that already have a current Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement or previous HAZWOPER experience will be given priority.
