Looking to start a occasional low tech. low key friendly no attitude daytime drop in jam/singalong in Waltham for players who like to sing and or just like accompanying themselves on guitar, uke, fiddle or harmonica, whatever, those who have played “open mikes” in the past or are preparing to in the future or those who simply would like to try out playing in an informal supportive setting in a circle in the round (outside of course) as the virus winds down and spring is upon us. I’m not sure where to meet yet. Possible at my place or at a park nearby. Bring your fold up chair. I’ve been into Travis picking lately, singing and accompaniment and playing songs from the 50’s-70’s. I like folk, pop and country and some old rock n roll. I’m retired and have lots of free time to organize the jam. Let me know if this might be something that you might be interested in attending occasionally. The jam will take place at the Gazebo on Waltham Common behind the City Hall. Starts tomorrow at 10:00-12:00.
