Shipping Team Leader – Full Time: Reporting to the Warehouse Fulfillment Manager, this position supervises and executes all shipping department job duties. Areas of responsibility include: daily outbound shipments, inbound product receiving, cooler organization, inventory management, & equipment maintenance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: File all waybills filed in chronological order (in either system or file cabinet). Weekly freeze inventory and update system. Daily inventory of expired product to be dumped asap (after Cathy/Jim approval). Monthly & Year end inventory of hard counts (flowers, greens, and hard goods). Weekly inventory to ensure accuracy on weekly product numbers. Daily inventory to ensure labels are on all buckets upon receiving. Physical inventory count process and provides data to Warehouse Fulfillment Manager (WFM). Receive product into Traverse system daily. Inform WFM & WAM or Harvesting Mgr about any quality or discrepancies to PO/WO daily. Receive product & hard goods per hard copy PO's. Inspect product to ensure they are in good condition and undamaged. If there are issues, report to WFM immediately. Ensure all paperwork is signed and submitted to the WFM. Verify boxes, buckets according to PO (quantity, quality, price, etc). Organize and oversee FIFO of inventory flow into Wholesale cooler. Print and review all packaging labels and waybills 1 day prior to shipping. Submit to shipping team. Print report daily of all boxes going out of the farm. Report and mistakes, changes in product to sales department. Ensure all trucks are out of the facility no later than 10:30am. Oversee all employees in the department Assist Drivers build pallets and load product Drive when needed SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES: Ability to output high volume of work accurately with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Ability to provide A-plus customer service to internal and external customers. Ability to work in temperatures of 34-38 degrees Computer skills, able to enter inventory in the system and add labels to merchandise Must be Bilingual Spanish/English (spoken and written) ob type: Mon-Sat. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience
